Burgh House in Hampstead is one of my favourite London venues (and not just because I live only fifteen minutes drive away, ha ha!). It’s the perfect size for an intimate family wedding, plus it’s utterly charming. I think I’ve photographed six weddings here over the years. Each one is different, and special in its own way. Will and Darija’s wedding was particularly lovely because it took place just as weddings were starting to ease back to some semblance of normality, and you were allowed to have more than twenty eight guests.

It was a perfect cloudless July day, and Hampstead looked gorgeous. I instantly felt a connection to Darija as she’s Croatian. (It’s not often I meet fellow Croatians!). She wore the most stunning dress by Roand Mouret, and I loved Will’s lush blue suit.

I love that Darija and Will chose to walk down the aisle together.

I swear these two aren’t models.

2022 is shaping up to be as busy as, if not busier than, 2021 was. If you’re still looking for your wedding suppliers, my advice would be to try to confirm them sooner rather than later. Many of us in the industry are still fitting new couples into the diary around couples who moved first from 2020 to 2021, and then again to 2022. There’s a lot of pressure on the peak dates! x
