I feel very strongly that wedding photographs should be printed. I worry that my clients’ digital images will ultimately get lost because usb flash drives etc are constantly changing and eventually everything becomes obsolete. Not paper, though! At least not yet. Also, there’s a wonderful tactile sensation when you’re holding a heavy luxurious leather album in your hands, and really able to study the images at your leisure. Somehow, looking at them on a computer screen is just not the same! I’ve been supplying wedding albums to my couples for over seven years now, and when something is working well, it’s difficult to change and try something different. However, the new Folio albums are so beautiful, that I’ve decided to only offer them from now on.
Folio are a UK based company and are proud of their sustainability and quality, and rightly so. Every album is hand crafted with eco-friendly materials. For lots of information and pretty pictures, have a look at their website – FOLIO

*** UPDATE ***
Here’s a little update to the above post. I wanted to tell you about a new product I now supply. It’s the most beautiful hand crafted bamboo box from Folio Albums. As you can see below, it’s incredibly well made and should outlive most of us! I just love all the delicate detailing in the wood at the corners.
You’ll also notice the stylish grey leather cover on Katherine and Dan’s new album – in case you’re curious, this is ‘Pewter’ in Contemporary Leather. The small parent album you see below is in ‘Midnight Blue’ linen.
As my season winds down in late September, I’ll be getting stuck into designing albums to be delivered in time for Christmas, so if you’d like one, now is the time! (Usually, the cut off date for submitting album orders to Folio is early November.)
