It’s a Friday afternoon in February, and, let’s be honest, you have nothing else to do right now, so why not grab a cuppa and browse through the images from this elegant Islington wedding? (Have a biscuit, too, why not). As we’re in the depths of winter, I thought I’d share a winter wedding from 2021. (It feels a bit odd blogging hot summer weddings right now!)

I met Antonia when her brother Max married the lovely Alice, back in August (that blog post is still to come. and it will be epic). It’s always such a pleasure at a wedding when I know one of the families already, and this family are very special. There is such warmth and love between them all. I hope that shines through in these photographs. (I only briefly met Stephen’s family at the church, sadly, but they were also a joy!)

Antonia wore a stunning Pronovias dress, and Carrie Bradshaw style electric blue Manolo Blahniks. Such a stylish combination.

A few days before the wedding, Antonia and Stephen had to cancel the big evening reception because of omicron, but despite their disappointment, they had a truly wonderful wedding in the end.

Venue: St Mary’s Church, Upper Street, Islington

Dress: Pronovias

Shoes: Manolo Blahnik

Flowers: Dansk Flowers

The nerves were starting to kick in at this point.
