I bought my iPhone primarily for the camera but I haven’t really had a chance to play with it properly until today.  Trying to fiddle about with settings and apps while your toddler hurls himself towards traffic is not wise, or easy (I have tried 😉 ).  So, I met a friend for lunch in Covent Garden and this is the day in pictures, as it happened.

If you squint at the picture on the right, you should be able to spot Jeremy Irons loitering like a well-dressed tramp in the doorway.

Ah, stationery shops … bliss.

Like my Secret Squirrel self-portrait?

I really love this camera, er, I mean, phone.  It is astonishingly good quality and is so much fun.  It’s made me love spontaneous photography again.

Aw, I love Covent Garden and your photos really capture the spirit of it. Isn't it fun to be so incognito with the iphone camera?

Ooooo, lovely! I love that Teahouse shop - discovered it while randomly walking around Covent Garden - need to start exploring the area again - lots of pretty place in your pics ;-)

What is not to love about Covent Garden and your pictures of course. Brilliant and fantastic. When are you starting that book again?

I want to have this day! Anyone that stops long enough to snap pictures at a stationary shop is a friend of mine. A great reminder to use the phone in my pocket at little bit more!

I really like the chronological route this took. The colours and captures really pop out of the screen. Bravo, Mrs.

Awesome Kirsten. The best camera is the one that's with you as they say...

they are good quality, and I heard from Annabel Williams the Hipstamatic app is all the rage at the mo! I had never heard of hairbyfairy, so you have introduced me to another place that does funky coloured hair extensions! Hooray
