Shooting any wedding involves a certain amount of pressure. Shooting a fellow wedding photographer’s wedding has just a soupçon more! The groom, Nick, is a very talented wedding (and press and commercial) photographer, and so we really were hugely honoured to be asked to document their wedding. It was an absolute pleasure and a fantastic day.
The wedding took place in the picturesque village of Brightwalton in Berkshire, with the service at All Saints Church and the reception across the road at a friend’s house. The weather wasn’t exactly on our side. We had full strength June sunshine one minute, and heavy, blustery showers the next. Fortunately, for all the important moments, the skies cleared for us.
Camilla got ready at the amazing Bowriver House nearby. The service was incredible and you’d be hard pressed to find a more welcoming bed and breakfast in Berkshire, I’m sure. She must have been the calmest bride I’ve ever met, totally serene and gorgeous.
I’d like to thank my incredible second shooter on the day, Leon Neal. As always, you were amazing.

Might rain later …

Camilla made such a radiant bride.

Sorry, Nick, I had to put this one in 😉

Well done, Leon, for capturing these, I love them way too much.

Portraits and party shots to come in Part Two.
