I think it’s safe to say that 2014 has been my favourite ever year as a wedding photographer. Not only did I have truly wonderful couples, but the weddings were so varied and packed with love and joy. As I started collating the images for the post, I realised that I’d have to have some sort of theme, so that it wouldn’t look like just a random collection of wedding and non-wedding images, therefore I decided to show you my favourite emotional shots from the year. I wanted to show the connection between people at a wedding. The way they look at each other, the way they touch each other. Not just the couples either, weddings are also about families and friends, and what they can bring to the day, moments that really only happen at weddings. The tears are as important as the laughter to tell the whole story.
I also threw in a few ‘pretty’ photographs to give you a break from all the tears and laughter, haha. There are a lot of images… you have been warned!
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s invited me in to share their day with them. It was an honour and a pleasure, and I loved this year because of you all.
