What an incredible day I had yesterday. I went up to Birmingham for Emma Case‘s first photography workshop, ‘Welcome Home‘. This was my first workshop and it didn’t disappoint.
I’ve long admired and loved Emma and her work. She’s probably the most loved person in the UK wedding industry, actually (she should get an award for that!). When I first started out, I contacted her for advice and she was always amazingly supportive, honest and helpful. Honest is probably the best word to describe her and her work, there is nothing disingenuous about this girl. Between her and Pete, the day went amazingly well – we learned so much and no question was out of bounds. I went away inspired and full of love for what I do and for WHY I do it. 🙂
Lauren and Steve were our models for the day, and Lauren wore a stunning Fur Coat No Knickers dress.

How stunning are Steve and Lauren?! Wow. Natural models (and no, they aren’t models).

KAPOW!

It was fantastic to meet all the attendees and I know we’ll stay in touch. Thanks again, darling Emma.
