I think that Number 16 Sumner Place is my new favourite London venue for elegant small weddings. Tom and Julio chose to have their afternoon tea reception there, after having their amazing emotional ceremony at the famous Chelsea Old Town Hall. You may all remember how moved I was by their wedding back in May (see the preview here). Time has not diminished how I feel about these two. I can’t wait to share the full blog post of their fun Essex wedding at Tom’s parents’ house! London weddings rock.
*edited to update* I received this email after sending Tom and Julio their highlights slideshows yesterday. Making my clients happy is the main reason I do this job. That sounds sappy but I do mean it.
“Kirsten, you set me off crying. Julio held back and we are both smiling from ear to ear. We just watched both videos through twice and got transported back to the wedding and I’m sure it will be played many, many more times before the night is out!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This was such a wonderful surprise for us to get from you and we really do appreciate all the work that you have put into getting such wonderful photos to us. Honestly, each time the photos changed we saw another favourite and the second time we watched we saw even more. For me, it was really interesting to see our wedding through your eyes and you picked up so many things which could be forgotten if you had not captured them – we really can’t wait to see all the rest of the photos. It comes across in the photos that the Chelsea day was very intimate and that the Essex day was serious, but that people were ready to party! It also seems obvious that you were enjoying yourself when you took the photos because you really captured the special moments – the laughs, tears, smiles, looks – with such ease.
I think we’ll watch the videos again now and finish off our glasses of champagne (no cachaca left to make any caipirinhas!).
