This was my third time shooting a South Place Hotel wedding in London, and I never tire of the elegant and quirky interior and exterior of this venue. Add to that a very stylish English/Norwegian couple, and all of their fun guests, and you have the recipe for a fabulous and interesting day, full of Norwegian traditions such as all of the guests blessing the rings before the ring exchange, and the female guests lining up to kiss the groom when the bride leaves the reception room (and vice versa).
If you’re still looking for your London wedding venue, I can highly recommend South Place Hotel. It’s boutique, luxurious, lively and fresh-faced, the first hotel from restaurateurs, D&D London. With 80 bedrooms, five bars and a floor of event spaces, the hotel was designed for wining, dining and dancing, before falling into a comfortable bed. Designed by Conran + Partners, inspired details and playful touches mirror the vibrant neighbourhood, a deft mixture of the contemporary City, London’s most historic quarters and the achingly cool East End. Both inside the hotel and a short walk away you’ll find something to explore on every visit.
Is there anything more beautiful than a statuesque red-head in a David Fielden gown and Freya Rose shoes? I thought Siri looked phenomenal. Matt didn’t look too shabby either, to be fair!

Huge congratulations, Siri and Matt! The rest of your images will be with you soon.
As you may have noticed, the blog has been a little quiet of late, and that’s because I’m in the peak of my wedding season. Normal service will resume soon, I promise.
