Last Thursday, I was honoured to be invited by Annabel from the ever fabulous Love My Dress blog, to join her, Tiffany from Grant-Riley Styling and Vicky Rowe, to an exclusive screening of the first episode of the second season of the HBO show, Boardwalk Empire. As you may know, I did a Boardwalk Empire inspired shoot back in March, so this was a very exciting invitation to receive! I’ve been a huge fan of the show since the beginning.
We dressed for the event at the luxurious Trafalgar Hotel, just off Trafalgar Square. They do host weddings and, wow, wouldn’t I LOVE to shoot a wedding there 😉

The event was held at the Candlelight Club in Islington.
A jazz band entertained the crowd before the screening.
My favourite room in the venue was the ‘styling room’ where the VIPs were dressed in 1920s clothing and accessories, and had their make-up done. It was a photographer’s dream to shoot, with textured walls and quirky fittings. Sorry, there are way too many images 😉
Annabel popped back downstairs to have her hair accessories adjusted, so I grabbed a few shots of her.
And then it was back upstairs to watch the screening. As you can tell, we were a bit excited… 🙂
