I know that I seem weather obsessed sometimes (you can blame my Zimbabwean upbringing for that) but we really had horrible weather for this September South Lodge Hotel wedding in West Sussex. It drizzled all day, except for around fifteen minutes mid-afternoon when we managed to get some outdoor group shots. It’s a testament to Emma and Stew’s spirit, and their joy on their wedding day, that the drizzle had absolutely no effect on them. They beamed throughout the couple shots, despite the fine mist of rain falling on them. Besides, isn’t it supposed to be good luck to have a wet wedding day? Whether that’s true or not, these two are made for each other, and I just know they will be making each other smile for the rest of their lives together.
You may remember Emma’s sister Michelle’s wedding on my blog, if not, it can be found here. I’d like to thank the lovely Emma Russell for her help second shooting for me on the day.

I should explain the image below. The best men hired Stewart a Smart car ( a private in-joke between them) and presented it during their speech.

It was an honour and a pleasure to photograph your big day, Emma and Stew, and I wish you all the joy in the world.
