Back in April this year, I had the enormous honour of photographing Chris and Tash’s Chateau Rigaud wedding in South West France. Not only is the chateau gorgeous, inside and out, but the staff are incredible – the best I’ve ever worked with, actually. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, too (glorious on the Saturday, but we had torrential rain on the Sunday!).
Chris probably doesn’t know this, but he took one of the earliest photographs of Leon and I together, when we first started seeing each other back in 2007! He’s a phenomenal photographer himself, working as the Royal Photographer for Getty Images (his picture of Prince George is now the official 4th birthday picture!), so there was literally no (self-inflicted) pressure to shoot his wedding. None.
Tash is one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever met, beautiful both inside and out. I think you’ll agree that she looked absolutely radiant in her Jenny Packham dress and Jimmy Choo shoes.
The day began at the chateau, with both bridal prep and groom prep, then the ceremony was held at a nearby church (Eglise St Pierre), which has stunning views over the countryside. After the ceremony everyone moved back to the chateau where canapés and drinks were served. The Nice based English band (Bright Lights Band) were AMAZING. I make no apologies for all the dance shots in this blog post, they really got the guests up and dancing the night away.

It was such a brilliant weekend and I can’t wait to be back for another Chateau Rigaud wedding next August!
