One of the things I look forward to about the quieter winter months is that I get the chance to blog more of my favourite weddings that I didn’t have time to blog during the summer. Today’s Burgh House wedding was a truly elegant and stylish affair. Hannah wore a delicate Halfpenny lace dress, and I loved her shiny Emmy shoes and blousy wildflower bouquet. I thought she looked absolutely timeless. Michael wore my favourite colour suit, a punchy shade of navy.
Bridal preparations took place at the wonderful Dorset Square Hotel, and then we made our way to the Burgh House and Hampstead Museum in North West London. I’ve photographed quite a few weddings at this venue now, and there is a reason I keep taking bookings there! Not only is it a charming building to have your wedding, it’s very close to Hampstead Heath, which is a riot of colour in Spring and summer. Plus it’s only twenty minutes from my home, so there’s that too, ha ha!
There were so many emotional moments that I absolutely loved in this wedding, and Hannah and Michael clearly adore each other. It was just a joy to shoot from beginning to end.
