When I first started shooting weddings, I really didn’t expect the industry to be as welcoming, or as helpful, as it’s turned out to be. I know that if I need help on a wedding, I have several people I can call upon. This is such a support in a career that can be quite lonely sometimes. One of my good friends and a fellow wedding photographer, Tamara Kuzminski, recently asked me to give her a hand at a Brocket Hall wedding. Because of the distance between the bridal preparations and the church ceremony, it would have been physically impossible for her to cover both by herself. I was more than happy to help out, as I’d never actually second shot at a wedding, and I knew I’d learn a lot, as well as have some freedom to shoot more ‘loosely’ than I would if I was the primary shooter.
Tamara’s amazing images from the day can be seen here . Look out for the fun dancing shots at the end of the wedding!
Andrea and Maung had a combined Catholic and Greek Orthodox service (new to me!), followed by a hugely elegant reception at the impressive Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire. Her stunning dress was Suzanne Neville and her shoes were Jimmy Choo.

Thank you for having me along, Tamara, it was such a fun day.
