PART TWO
Welcome to part two of Tasha and Phil’s incredible wedding at the Roof Gardens in Kensington! As I mentioned in part one, this was a very emotional wedding to photograph (my favourite kind!). There were belly laughs and proper tears throughout the day, the speeches were particularly moving. I loved it all. If you’re going to get married, this is the way to do it!
Phil and his ushers started the day with some drinks at the Builders Arms, then headed over to the Roof Gardens. This is such a unique venue in London, with four separate, and very different, areas. Plus there are flamingos. Yes, real flamingos that roam around giving everyone unblinking scary looks. I wouldn’t mess with them.
There was a second wedding ceremony that took place in the Woodland area, then Phil carried Tasha to the Spanish Gardens, where drinks and canapés were served. After dodging the July showers. everyone then moved to the Tudor Garden for the wedding breakfast and the fabulous speeches. The day ended with an energetic first dance, and then Phil surprised all the guests by jumping on stage and playing guitar magnificently! (Phil is a songwriter and music producer.) It was the perfect way to end their weekend and I suspect the party went on for many hours after I left them to it.
I love Tasha and Phil, their obvious joy at being married shines out of every photograph, and I just know they are going to have a wonderful life together.
This was supposedly to only be a brief preview, but there was just too much to show, so get comfy! x
