When Emma and Tim got in touch with me about their Brocket Hall wedding last July, I was delighted because I photographed Emma’s sister Lucy’s wedding to Rich, back in 2017. They are such a lovely warm family, and it’s always very special to catch up with your previous couples, whether at the weddings of their brothers or sisters, or when I get to photograph their growing families! Emma and her family got dressed at the sumptuous Grove in Chandler’s Cross in Watford, then it was on to St Alban’s Cathedral for the ceremony. What a stunning building the cathedral is, and Emma and Tim were blessed to be able to have their ceremony in the High Altar. It truly is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the UK.

Two red London Routemaster buses then took the guests to Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire, where they had canapes and drinks and then the wedding breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best weather on the day – it drizzled from the moment we left the cathedral right up until the fireworks display in the late evening. The rain didn’t dampen the fun and the joy of the day, though, as I’m sure you can see from the images below.

Many thanks to Cristina Rossi for being my excellent second shooter. I just adore this family, and Cristina and I had the best day. 🙂
